New Folk Booking is excited to introduce the newest addition to the roster! Led by Israeli composer/performer Guy Mendilow, The Guy Mendilow Band plays music with a dynamic blend of Israeli and Sephardi influences tempered with Bahian street beats and blues. The inventive world music and workshops work well in a variety of settings including Performing Arts Centers, Theatres, Festivals and Schools.

Celtic/American Folk-Rock band, Lehto & Wright, is celebrating their 10th Anniversary in 2010 with the release of their 8th album! The celebration will take place at THE CELTIC JUNCTION in St. Paul... the show starts at 7:30!

Billy’s McLaughlin’s documentary, Changing Keys: Billy McLaughlin and the Mysteries of Focal Dystonia, will be featured during the TPT Twin Cities Pledge Drive during the month of December 2009! The drive will also feature live, in-studio interviews with Billy!

I'm excited to attend my first of many booking conferences this September. The Midwest Arts Conference takes place from Sept. 10-12, 2009. Please find me at the New Folk Booking exhibit, Booth 625!
New Folk Booking is also hosting the New Folk Booking Independent Showcases. These will take place in the Kellogg III Conference Room on the Lobby Level of the Crowne Plaza Hotel (Conference Hotel). Hope to see you there!
