Paul Mayasich - Guitars & Vocals

Paul, a native of the Iron Range of Minnesota, began playing guitar at an early age. He moved to the Twin Cities in 1987 and immediately fell into a jam at Red's Roost where he honed his unique style with the area’s top musicians. Paul has played side- man for many regional and national recording artists and has toured the United States and Europe. Currently, Paul performs solo & duo shows along with his band, RAMM . He plays guitar for national and local musicians for live performances and studio sessions. Paul has five critically acclaimed CDs to his name along with having written five of the songs on the award- winning CD by Blue Chamber with Big John Dickerson including the title track, Arms of the Blues, which won a MN Music Award for Best Blues recording of the year for 2000. Paul lives on a farm near Marine on St. Croix, MN

Hye Pockets Robertson - Drums, Congas & Vocals

Pockets has been playing professionally since the 60's, his first big time pro gig was with the Coasters and Drifter's, 1966 for a summer. He played with a lot of blues artists like Memphis Slim, Johnny Copeland, Junior Wells, Albert King, and the great Etta James, but pockets cut his teeth playing with Luther Allison. He spent 7 years with Luther covering all of western and some of eastern Europe. This is were Pockets met and played with people like the Rolling Stones, Chick Corea, Parliament Funkadellic, Ohio Players. Pockets moved back to Minneapolis in 1983. He played with local groups Willie & The Bee's, Big Walter Smith, In 1985 he formed a band called The R-Section which included Jimi Smith , Mick Massoff, Denis Landeen. They won best new album of the year in Germany in 1985. In the 90s he joined a group called the Rhythm Doctors, where he and Paul got together. Pockets lives in Richfield, MN. 

John Iden bass & back-up vocals   John began his career in Florida playing with Jay Whitney in a variety of R&B and blues bands along with recording original music. He has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with Katie Webster and James Cotton. After moving to Minnesota in the early nineties, John has been working in the music scene ever since, working in a variety of music styles ranging from blues, jazz, R&B, to funk and rock. John has shared the Minnesota stage with Willie Murphy, Joe Juliano, Tom Hunter and Scottie Miller. John currently plays in RAMM with Paul Mayasich and Pockets as well as with the Good, Bad & the Funky band and Jim Ouska.  John calls St. Paul, MN his home.
